10. Brazil To Win The World Cup

Andre Penner/AP/Press Association ImagesAndre Penner/AP/Press Association ImagesBrazil To Win The World Cup Price: 11/4 Brazil are favourites to win the World Cup and rightly so. They've been the favourites from the beginning and that's for one very simple reason; the World Cup is being held in their country! When you add to that, their impressive showing in last year's Confederations Cup, in which they beat Spain in the final 3-0, and the fact that no European nation has ever won the World Cup when it's been held in South America, then it's fairly obvious that Brazil were always going to be the red hot favourites for this tournament. So far in the tournament, they've been fairly unimpressive, but have continued to chug along, winning matches and qualifying. They were given an almighty scare by everybody's favourite underdogs, Chile, in the last round, but they found a way to qualify, via penalties. Colombia in the next round will be a very tough tie, with the Colombians being one of the more impressive teams so far, but you'd have to expect Brazil to continue to find a way to win. Driven on by their immensely passionate home support and with the vast array of talent at their disposal, you can't see past a Brazil win in this World Cup. You should place this bet sooner, rather than later, as the price is only going to get shorter from here.
