Uruguay have twice won the World Cup - in its maiden year of 1930 as hosts and again in 1950, defeating Brazil 2-1 in the final, and how the Brazilians would love to see their old foes crash and burn in the group stages. That could very well be the case tomorrow as the Uruguayan's prepare for their crunch encounter with Argentina knowing anything less than a win would condemn them to the unenvied play-offs. The Argentinians have qualified from the South American qualifying stage alongside Colombia and have nothing to play for tomorrow except pride, while Luis Suarez and co. must both win and improve their goal difference to join them. Uruguay can't be caught in fourth place with fifth-placed side Venezuela having already played up their list of 16 fixtures, but dropping into the play-offs would see them take on Jordan next month for the right to go to Brazil.
