10 "No Body, No Death" Cases In Star Trek

7. Sela

If there was a character who could give Ro Laren a run for their money in terms of living in our minds rent-free, it's Sela.

We've discussed her at length here at TrekCulture - her story simply isn't over! She was last seen succumbing to Data's nerve pinch in Unification II, which as we all know is not a fatal attack. That means she was alive in her last appearance.

The price of failure is high in the Romulan world, so with Spock managing to contact the outside galaxy and warn them of Romulan invasion plans, it would seem to be the right time for Sela to hot-foot it off-world.

After all, the Romulans destroyed their own convoys to prevent them from falling into enemy hands - it's not a big stretch to imagine they would liquidate everyone involved in the plot. The Tal Shiar are rather good at what they do, so hiding from them may take a bit of work, but the failed attack against the Founders could have bought Sela some time to make a new life somewhere far away from the Hobus Supernova.

Come on Star Trek: Legacy - hurry up and get confirmed so that we can check in with our favourite Sela at last!
