10 Actors Who HATED Making TV Shows
9. Bradley Cooper - Alias
Bradley Cooper first made a name for himself as Will Tippin in the hit series Alias, but he became disillusioned with the job and Hollywood as a whole when his screen time became markedly reduced throughout the first season.
In an interview with GQ, Cooper revealed that he ended up only being on set for three days a week, which combined with his substance abuse issues and a further role reduction in season two, prompted thoughts of suicide.
Against the advice of friends and family, Cooper asked showrunner J.J. Abrams to release him from the show, and Abrams complied.
Cooper had no other projects lined up and even considered quitting acting altogether, though eventually booked a memorable supporting role in Wedding Crashers which changed the entire course of his career.
Two decades later, Cooper's filmography has grossed over $13 billion worldwide and he has a stonking 12 Oscar nominations to his name. To say that things worked out for him in the end is quite the understatement.
