10 Arrowverse Villains Who Were Actually Heroes

Ben Turner was one of Green Arrow's more physically intimidating villains early in Arrow's run, and with good reason. The mercenary was well versed in various martial arts disciplines, and was skilled enough to go toe-to-toe with Green Arrow and even overwhelm the Emerald Archer in some of their encounters.

These abilities made him a natural fit for the criminal underworld, and he allied himself with the likes of China White, Danny Brickwell and Amanda Waller under Task Force X (though the latter was forced). It was his time on the Suicide Squad that Turner's more noble qualities began to shine through to the surface, saving his teammate Lyla Michaels during a mission.

However, it was not until Oliver's stint in Slabside Prison where the full extent of Bronze Tiger's heroism was revealed. At first resuming his antagonistic stance against the embattled Queen, Turner later teamed up with the hero to save the prison guards from Ricardo Diaz's rampage - and upon his release, Turner helped Oliver battle his half-sister Emiko and her Ninth Circle terrorist organisation.
