10 Best Comic Book TV Shows Never Made

1. She-Hulk (1990)

In 2019, Marvel Studios finally announced that they would be pushing forward with the development of a She-Hulk series for Disney+. It's a shame that it has taken this long for the character to be given her own title, particularly when a series surrounding Jennifer Walters was so close to fruition way back in 1990.

Since making her comic debut in 1980, She-Hulk has established her own loyal fan base. Differentiating herself from her more famous green cousin by balancing her human and Hulk forms, while maintaining a successful legal career, Jennifer Walters has been deserving of more mainstream attention for some time.

The TV movie, The Death of the Incredible Hulk was supposed to feature an appearance from Bruce Banner's cousin, with a solo series set to follow should it be received well enough. However, due to changes to the movie, the appearance that would have essentially acted as a pilot in itself never materialised.

With no showing from Walters, and no way of gauging a reaction from audiences, the She-Hulk series was ultimately cancelled. Should this have gone differently, with Marvel opting for better female representation throughout the 1990's, we may not have ultimately had to wait so long for a female led movie. This could have been the most important series on this list.
