2. Doctor Who Celebration
The golden Doctor Who festivities continued off screen too when the BBC hosted an official celebratory event in London over the anniversary weekend in November 2013. Attended by past and present Doctors alike, fans had the opportunity to meet stars from the show, participate in workshops and panels and delve behind the scenes of their favourite show. Thousands of excitable Whovians from around the world embarked on the capital to participate in the celebrations, which were centred around a screening of the anniversary special.
