10 Best Star Trek Characters In One Scene Only

1. Commander Tebok

Star Trek Romulan
CBS

Marc Alaimo returns, with his second one-scene character here. Commander Tebok is the first speaking Romulan to appear in Star Trek: The Next Generation. With that slow drawl and highly arrogant sir, he is more than capable of chewing the scenery with each word he speaks.

This scene had to work. It was the final episode of the show's first season, so there had to be a hook to get people back for the next year. These villains were returning from the Original Series and, despite sporadic appearances in the movies, had not been seen since 1969.

The combination of the stunning Romulan Warbird, designed by Andrew Probert, and Alaimo's coolly confident commander (one who has no problem in snapping 'silence your Klingon dog' in reference to Worf) serve to deliver the message that forms the last words of Alaimo in the episode, about the Romulans themselves:

We Are Back.
