10 Best Treehouse Of Horror Episodes
7. Treehouse Of Horror III
This episode kicks off with a classic, Clown Without Pity, or as most people will know it, The Killer Krusty Doll. Homer buys Bart a last minute birthday present, seemingly perfect at first, until it becomes evident that the doll has been set to evil rather than good.
Secondly is King Homer, a retelling of the classic 1930s film King Kong. As the title implies, Homer plays the role of the great ape who falls in love with the beauty that is Marge. It follows the story almost exactly, seeing Homer transported back to civilisation and eventually attempting the great climb of the Empire State Building, only to become tired and fall two stories in exhaustion.
Last up is Dial 'Z' For Zombies, The Simpsons' first foray into zombies (which would not be their last). After Bart and Lisa try to use occult magic to bring their cat Snowball I back to life, the cemeteries erupt and bring forth an army of the dead.
