9. Game Of Thrones - Dungeons And Dragons
The world waited with bated breath on the 19th May 2019 for the finale of Game Of Thrones. Season 8 hadn't gone down very well thus far - the quality had been lower than usual and the show just seemed doomed to long-running-show-fatigue (everyone remembers coffee cup-gate). But fans' hopes were high for the series finale, and when it came... it was divisive to say the least.
So, it was understandably exciting for the fans of HBO's hit show when it was announced that some fan favourite actors were going to feature in a D&D Roll with Advantage episode in support of Red Nose Day.
The charity event brought together Daniel Portman, who played good-guy Podrick Payne; Gemma Whelan, who portrayed no-nonsense Yara Greyjoy, and Natalia Tena who played Osha - and who you may remember as Nymphadora Tonks from the Harry Potter franchise. Topping of the cast list were none other than Kristian Nairn who gave us the lovable fan-favourite Hodor and Iwan Rheon who played to perfection the psychotic Ramsay Bolton.
It was a seemingly perfect pairing: GoT and D&D, and the actors seemed to have a great time playing into their characters' stereotypes and getting endearingly into the game at hand.
