6. Arrested Development Season Five Will Get A 2016 Air Date
Arrested Development season four was something of a lesson for show creator Mitch Hurwitz. The lesson in question? One of the show's greatest strengths was the ensemble scenes, the scenes that threw the whole Bluth family into a single location and watched the hilarious outcome. Hurwitz, battling the busy schedules of his cast, tried something new, and it didn't really work. With season five, then, expect things to be very different (that is, more like before). It's likely that this is the reason why a fifth season has taken so long to materialise (season four aired in 2013 on Netflix). Hurwitz wants to get things right. And who can blame him? Neverthless, season five will finally air in 2016. The proof? Despite the fact that none of the cast have currently signed onto a fifth season, they have begun talking about the show in the media, with Tony Hale (who plays Buster Bluth) teasing a return to the show's ensemble-centric roots. But that's not all. According to various rumours, Hurwitz is considering turning the fifth season into a serialized murder mystery. Could the death of George Bluth Sr. be imminent? It would be a great reason to bring the whole family back together.
