8. Blade
Many people dont even know that Blade is a Marvel property. The first Blade film released in 1998 was the first successful film for Marvel, and its success lead to Marvel taking a risk with their more well know property, the X-Men. The first Blade film was followed by 2 sequels, and a short lived live action TV series. Blade is a Dhampir (half-breed vampire) who dedicates his life to eradicating vampires. He has all of the strengths of a vampire and none of the weaknesses, except for a lust for blood which is suppressed with a serum. The inclusion of Blade in the S.H.I.E.L.D. series would introduce a whole new element of vampire lore. It would also reinvigorate the Blade franchise which has been stagnant since the 2006 TV series. It would be great if Wesley Snipes could reprise his role as Blade, as he was part of the success of the films, but there are plenty of other actors that could fill the role.
