We're big fans of this one, though since we have already met two different incarnations of Nelson's father, this does not hold much weight. But then given the nature of some of the previously mentioned theories on this list, we're prepared to believe anything. The two were briefly seen together in "Bart's Comet" and since then fans have been convinced that the two are related. There's certainly some evidence. Aside from the obvious physical similarities and choice of wardrobe, Nelson pretty much grew up without a father, so there's no guarantee he would actually recognize him if they met. Who's to say that the men we met in "Brother from the Same Planet" and "Sleeping with the Enemy" were not just Mrs Muntz's gentleman callers of the week. After all, we know Nelson's mother is promiscuous. His real father could be anyone in Springfield. Even someone as physically unappealing as Barney would stand a chance. Then there's Barney's years of alcohol abuse and inability to remember events while drunk, and it's more than feasible that he could have unwittingly fathered a child. Or Nelson could be the result of one of Barney's many, many donations to the Springfield Sperm Bank.
As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG.
I may have a problem!
But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
