10 Crazy Characters You Forgot Existed In Stargate

This bloody guy.

Religious zealots really never get good legacies in SG-1, so when Brother Malchus (guest star John Provsky) proclaims SG-1 to be 'elves', arriving to cause mischief, that is quite a bad sign from the off. Unfortunately for them, an accident lends a creedance to Malchus's words.

In locking onto the world, Carter had to override a safety on the dialling computer. This allowed the wormhole to pass through the system's sun, depositing a heavy material inside the star and causing nuclear fusion to break down. Despite the world being protected by the Asgard, they refuse to help, stating that it is simply a natural step for the planet and to help would be to void the protected planets treaty.

Carter comes up with the idea of using a rocket to deposit the additional needed to repair the sun, however Brother Malchus believes that this is heresy. He claims that if the gods want them to die, they must die. With this, he sends two suicide bombers to the rocket - destroying the platform and killing two members of SG-6.

While Carter is able to save the planet in the end (potentially with secret help from the Asgard), Malchus is still the mad preacher type who uses the entire situation to his own gain.

This bloody guy.
