2. Visiting A Vampire Brothel – Riley (Season 5, Episode 9 And 10)
Riley Finn is the only person who can rival Dawn as the most consistently dislikeable character in the show. Though he’s not as annoying as Buffy’s little sister, he’s just a bit dull.
In the middle of Season 5, he takes it upon himself to visit a vampire brothel – a place humans go to have their blood sucked. This is uncomfortable enough on its own, but Riley’s decision is dangerous as well as creepy because it’s not uncommon for vampires to kill their victims inside these hell-like brothels.
What’s more, his explanation is ludicrous. Towards the end of ‘Into the Woods’, Riley reveals he wanted to know what Buffy felt when she was bitten by Dracula, and that he liked being with somebody who actually needed him.
This, of course, is a feeble argument with questionable logic. Luckily, Riley soon leaves Sunnydale and abandons his new hobby.
