10 Forgotten Horror TV Shows You MUST Watch
7. Fear Itself
Broadcast on NBC (before it was unceremoniously pulled from the air during its run), Fear Itself is a 2008 horror anthology series and featured actors such as Elisabeth Moss, Eric Roberts, Brandon Routh, Anna Kendrick and Jesse Plemons during its short-lived eight-episode run.
Its title was inspired by the oft-mentioned Franklin D. Roosevelt quote and its narrative structure took creative insights from Masters of Horror (which will be covered later).
Much like its spiritual predecessor, Fear Itself featured the behind the scenes talents of the likes of Mary Harron, John Landis, Stuart Gordon and Rob Schmidt lending their gifts to craft stories such as In Sickness and In Health, Community and Eater.
Unfortunately, airing on NBC meant that Garris's new foray into horror lacked the bite of his earlier work, but this did not stop Fear Itself from being a solid, if not spectacular bit of network horror television.
