10 Funniest Curb Your Enthusiasm Episodes

7. The Bat Mitzvah (Season 6, Episode 10)

When one is suffering from a tickle in their anus, it's probably best to share the info with as few a people as possible.

Inspired by an unscrupulous cinema-goer's shameless scheme to cut the line, Larry impersonates a disabled person around the office. It's an awful ploy to deter a potential new office tenant from moving in that leads to endless embarrassment for TV's favourite schlemiel.

Saddled with an unfortunate rumour regarding a gerbil, Larry becomes the laughing stock of LA (again) and decides Sammi's Bat Mitzvah will be the ideal time to clear everything up. From the despicable shamelessness of his office behaviour to his dreadful Bat Mitzvah speech to the surprise romance with Loretta, this is one of David's finest performances on the show.

Despite delivering the mean-spirited goods throughout, The Bat Mitzvah is one of the few episodes to end on a positive note with Larry finding love again and taking his new duties as soccer dad surprisingly seriously. Loretta shutting the merciless Susie down remains among the show's most satisfying moments 14 years on and a perfect cap-off to arguably the series' most consistent season.
