Let's get the obvious one out of the way first, okay? It was the moment that Thrones fans had been waiting for ever since he smugly rolled into Winterfell during the very first episode. He finally got his comeuppance during the second episode of Season 4, after being poisoned at his own wedding feast, though he still had enough evil left in the tank to point at the innocent Tyrion before slumping to the ground. Actor Jack Gleeson did a truly fantastic job portraying the sadistic king. He was so good in fact, that after the character's death, there was a slight sense of disappointment that such a great villain was gone. The wedding feast scene sets up the basis of Season 4, with the fallout proving to be just as dramatic.
