3. Lord Frieza (Dragon Ball Z)
You all know this guy, don't act like you didn't know he was gonna be on this list. The only more obvious choice would be Dio. Who is not on this list. Sorry not sorry.
Frankly, Frieza has done far too much to be anywhere but in the top 3 of a list like this. Since no one watched Dragonball, the first thing you see when you boot up Z is Frieza blowing up Goku's home planet and vaporizing his dad. More than any other villain in DBZ's impressive repertoire, Frieza has the presence of someone who doesn't THINK they're a god among the universe, but one who KNOWS it.
The guy is a spoiled, entitled, colonizing little brat through and through, but with the overwhelming might and gleeful willingness to use it to make you think twice about saying that to his face. And, of course, bubbling just beneath that aristocratic surface lies a true blue psychopath with a desperate need to harm others. As if it's the only thing he can truly feel anymore.
Frieza is the platonic ideal of the force of nature villain archetype. And god do we love him for it.
