4. Picard's Skull Room

Jean-Luc was transported to an alternate timeline in the second season of Star Trek: Picard, where he was feared across the galaxy as a ruthless warrior. In the episode Penance, Q showed Picard a trophy room on his counterpart's property filled with artefacts and skulls of his greatest enemies.

So many famous Trek villains appeared in this short scene. There were skulls of Grand Nagus Zek, a Borg Sentinel, General Martok, Gul Dukat, Sarek, and two new characters, a Saurian named Commodore Y'Shi, and a Lihn Zhee named Chieftain M'Talas (named after showrunner Terry Matalas).

We also got to see some famous props belonging to these characters, like the Grand Nagus' staff and Klingon disruptor pistols. Q also explained how some of them were killed at the hands of the alternate Picard. In this reality, Dukat was executed after injuring Picard and forcing him to transfer into a synthetic body, Martok was killed in combat after a bioengineered virus was used to decimated the Klingon homeworld, and Sarek was decapitated on the steps of the Vulcan Science Academy in front of his wife, Amanda, and his son, Spock.

This scene not only showed how evil Picard's counterpart was, but also brought back some iconic Trek characters and taught us a bit about each species' anatomy. Who would've guessed Ferengi have ear-bones?
