10 Horror TV Shows That Deserved Another Season

Making three whole seasons of a series is nothing to scoff at, especially when the concept is as odd and bonkers as this one. Still, three just wasn't enough, as this Netflix horror comedy is yet another example of a show ending on a painful cliffhanger and not going out on its own terms.

The series followed a married couple of real estate agents, played by Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. Despite having great jobs and living in California, they didn't get to experience martial bliss, as Sheila (Barrymore) soon began to turn into a zombie. The pair worked to find a cure and survive the consequences.

Santa Clarita Diet had a lot going for it, with the biggest highlight being the chemistry between Barrymore and Olyphant. It was funny, witty and gorier than a piranha attack, which made it an effortlessly fun watch.

The third season ended with a big revelation that would have carried the show through a fourth (and possible even final) season. But, Netflix gave it the boot, as it wasn't deemed a profitable investment anymore.

So, you'll never see the final dish on this diet.
