5. The Doctor Never Killed His Own Race, He Just Forgot About The Moment
There's been a lot of outrage over 'The Day of the Doctor'. Partly over the lack of Doctors, but mostly over the idea that the Doctor never killed the Time Lords. The thing is though, he did. In at least one timeline. And here are three quotes from three Doctors to prove that: "I watched it happen: I made it happen!""You're not actually suggesting that we change our own personal history?""The alternative is burning. And I've seen that. And I never want to see it again." In 'The Day of the Doctor', the Doctors changed the past. They didn't fulfil what had already been done. There are two timelines here, and these quotes prove that; the Doctor's multi-faceted and dark characterisation is still in tact.
