10 MCU Characters That HAVE To Show Up On Disney+

4. Carol Danvers - Ms. Marvel

While Ms. Marvel will focus on Kamala Khan, the character introduced to Marvel Comics in 2013 certainly wasn't the first superhero to take on the Ms. Marvel mantle. The first, way back in the 1960s, was one of the most powerful characters in the entire MCU: Carol Danvers.

Kamala's very first appearance came in a Captain Marvel comic book, and she classes Danvers, the character whose Ms. Marvel legacy she is continuing, as her personal hero. Clearly, there are strong ties between the two in the comics, which is something that should be explored within the MCU as well.

Disney have confirmed that Iman Vellani will reprise her role as Kamala Khan in 2022's Captain Marvel 2, but since the franchise has no problem bringing established characters into their Disney+ shows, why not bring Carol into Ms. Marvel first?

This wouldn't have to be a a large role, as the focus should absolutely stay on Kamala, but even a cameo or Easter egg of some sort would be a huge deal for the series. Since the MCU's Ms. Marvel would appear to be so inspired by Carol, why not show where that stems from?
