10 Most Emotional Game Of Thrones Reunions
1. Sansa And Jon
When Sansa and Jon are reunited, it's like a dam has suddenly burst. There were so many fakeouts and near misses where the Stark siblings almost ran into one another, but then it finally happened with these two. What makes it so emotional isn't the fact that they were ever particularly close, because they weren't. In fact, they didn't exchange a single line of dialogue in the only episode where they share the screen.
But at this point in the show, they don't know that Bran is still alive, they don't know that Rickon is still alive. As far as they know, they are the last two Starks alive, and they cling to each other as the last connection to their family and childhood.
It doesn't matter that Sansa always lorded it over Jon for not being a trueborn son, or that Jon spent his entire life as a Broody McBroodface. And if you can not get a little emotional while watching them stare at each other in disbelief and then suddenly throw themselves into each other's arms, you must have a heart of ice.
