10 Most Emotional Moments On The Walking Dead
4. Abe And Glenn Meet Lucille
After many tortuous months of build-up, the opening of season seven was a breathtakingly nasty piece of television. It turns out we got a two for the price of one head mashing, with new big bad Negan taking his barbed wire baseball bat to both Abraham and Glenn.
Abraham’s mushy ending was bad enough, but there was some cold comfort in seeing how he didn’t cower or beg while facing death. This let viewers feel some momentary relief that the others were safe, only to yank out the rug by killing Glenn too.
Glenn was maybe the most likeable character on the show and one of the few original survivors left, so seeing him get annihilated in front of his crying, pregnant wife is the definition of misery. Kind of wish he'd kept hiding under the dumpster now.
