10 Most Evil South Park Villains

2. Eric Cartman

In the typical situational comedy there always seems to be a member of the primary group with some sort of antagonistic qualities. In this one however, there’s Eric Cartman.

Cartman begins life in the series as the standard counterweight to the good-natured characters around him like Kyle, Kenny and Stan. He’s practically the average neglected child archetype, until in one fell swoop he becomes a supervillain that even The Joker, Dr. Doom and Freddy Krueger may have nightmares about.

This occurs in the episode “Scott Tenorman Must Die” and by the end of it you probably feel sorry for Scott that he didn’t die. As a cat-and-mouse game plays out between the two, it seems hopeless for Cartman, until it ends with him cooking and feeding the young troublemaker his parents in a bowl of chilli.

After Cartman crosses this threshold, it’s debatable whether he does anything as sinister but he certainly comes close. He uses his friend’s death to abolish abortion laws to profit from stem cell research, leaves another in an underground bunker for days on end to attend a birthday party, and even pretends to have intellectual disabilities to enter the Special Olympics for his own gain.
