10 Most Rewatchable TV Shows Of 21st Century

1. Parks And Recreation

Michael Scott The Office

There are a number of workplace comedies that would have graced a much longer list. 30 Rock, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Superstore, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and The IT Crowd are all gems in their own right, but there's something about Parks and Rec that makes it a tad more special.

In the rare break from reruns of The Office, popping in on Leslie Knope and the Pawnee Parks Department is like reuniting with an old friend. Its mockumentary-style camera angles and workplace woes take a page from Dunder Mifflin, but Parks and Rec is far from a reworking of The Office.

Parks and Rec prioritizes the importance of friendship, civic duty, and becoming your best self. Although the characters have their own agendas, there's a distinct altruism in most of their motivations which removes many of the typical sitcom tropes from the script.

Parks and Rec is perhaps the only TV show of the 2000s to rival The Office and Friends for rewatchability.
