10 Overlooked Buffy The Vampire Slayer Episodes That Are Secretly Classics
4. Showtime (Season 7, Episode 11)

One of Buffy's defining characteristics is her typically unyielding spirit in the face of immeasurable odds, and Showtime is undoubtedly one of the finest displays of her innermost strength.
After suffering a nasty defeat at the hands of the Turok-Han in the previous episode, Buffy picks herself up and strives to prove to everyone that she is the hero that they need in their war against The First.
Displaying all of her wits, cunning, and skills in combat, Buffy - with the help of Willow and Xander - stage a demonstration for any of those that doubt her leadership skills. She lures the Turok-Han into an empty construction site and a savage battle begins. Things do look a little hairy for Buffy at the start, but she ultimately comes out on top.
What makes this episode so special is that it's truly the point where we see that no matter what, Buffy will not allow her spirit to be broken. After so many hardships and powerful foes that have broken her previously, it's so great to see her grab the bull by the horns and slice its ugly head off.
