10 Plots From Stargate That Were Just Dropped

7. Sora

Sora appeared in three episodes of Stargate Atlantis season 1 and seemed to be tied to the core of the Genii as a faction. Her father was killed in the first outing of the Genii ('Underground') and she reappeared in the truly excellent two-parter 'The Storm' and 'The Eye' to take her revenge, specifically on Teyla.

However, after the bitter conflict in the storm-wracked city and going knife to knife with her nemesis, Teyla spares Sora and manages to convince her to help get Dr. Beckett to safety. Sora is last seen looking like she doesn't know what's going to happen to her next, seeing as how the Genii and the Expedition are still enemies.

The season 1 finale episode 'The Siege Part II' was meant to have a scene where Sora was handed back to the Genii as part of a good-will gesture while the Expedition are bartering for nuclear weapons, however this scene was dropped due to time constraints. This means that officially, we have no idea what happened to Sora afterwards.

Was she a prisoner for the rest of the show? Would she have eventually relented and maybe joined the Expedition or acted as a friendly face for the Genii, allowing for a liaison between the two groups? Would've been nice to see.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
