10 Plots From Stargate That Were Just Dropped

3. Numerous Worlds From A Number Of Episodes

Why yes, this one is a bit of a cop-out. But it remains to be said that there while the intrepid explorers of the SGC made it out to dozens upon dozens of worlds, we didn't hear much of them after those initial episodes. In many cases, the members of SG-1 helped facilitate entire societal shifts within these worlds.

In 'Emancipation', they helped start a gender revolution amongst the descendants of the Mongols. In 'Learning Curve' they taught the entire planet of Orban how to have fun. In 'Past And Present' they help an entire population overcome mass amnesia caused by something that made them all young again. Bears looking into, doesn't it?!

It can be argued that many of these places never needed to be followed up on, or that it had happened off-screen. Many worlds that were visited once then contributed a piece of technology to later efforts (like the VR booths from season 2's 'The Gamekeeper' showing up in season 8's 'Avatar' as a training simulator), but many were just left wayward, even if they had something to offer. Maybe a few less worlds overall, but a few more follow-ups?

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
