8. Have We Seen The Last Of Loki In The Current Timeline?
Another interesting detail was revealed during the most recent MCU Disney+ trailer involving Loki and his current whereabouts.
In his brief appearance in the clip, Tom Hiddleston's Loki can be seen sitting in a chair wearing what appears to be a prison uniform. Not an unusual sight when it comes to the 'God of Mischief'. However, you can also spot the letters 'TVA' stamped onto the right-hand side of his shirt, which seems to suggest that Loki has been imprisoned by the Time Variance Authority.
In Marvel comics, the TVA are the protectors of the timeline of the universe. In other words, if you're trying to alter events in the past or future, they'll be onto you. So, it appears that they could be on the hunt for Loki after it was announced that he would in fact be travelling through time in the series and influencing human history along the way.
Yet, that still leaves us with one big question.
Will we ever see this time travelling Loki back in the MCU's current timeline?
There's still no word on whether Hiddleston will find his way into Thor: Love and Thunder. However, the incoming Loki series may reveal that a return to the main universe we know today is either impossible (due to being grounded by the TVA) or just about to happen.
