9. The Cosplay
Part of the appeal of being in a fandom is the fun of dressing in a costume and Whovians have a wide array of choices when it comes to choosing an outfit. The shows 50+ year history ensures no shortage of characters to choose from for costumed extravaganzas. Whether you choose to rock the Dalek look or go for a more dignified First Doctor ensemble, the geek chic of the Tenth Doctor or the bohemian wanderer of the Fourth Doctor, there is a Doctor Who-related outfit for every science fiction occasion. Cosplay is a fun way to express enthusiasm for shows fans love and there are no age or ability limits. Entire families - from the parents to tiny babies - have proudly donned their Doctor Who regalia to make for some particularly excellent family memories. Anyone and everyone can dress as the Doctor, companion, monster, or TARDIS they love and they know theyll receive encouragement from other Whovians who are probably wearing similar outfits, too.
