10 Reasons To Greenlight Star Trek: Janeway NOW

7. Speaking Of Voyager...

The Voyager Crew

Janeway's story wasn't the only one that felt unfinished.

By the time Voyager had returned home, the crew had already been through so much together. Chakotay went from Maquis rebel to reliable First Officer, Harry Kim was literally killed and replaced, Tuvok became a Borg drone, Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres started a family, and Seven of Nine and The Doctor discovered their sense of self.

But what happened next? Even with the return of some of those characters to our screens (often all too brief), so many questions have been left unanswered. How did they adjust to life back in the Alpha Quadrant? Did their odyssey change them for better or worse? Did the shadows of the past catch up with them once they'd returned home?

This is by no means a call for 'Voyager: The Sequel'. On the contrary, fresh blood and new stories are healthy for any franchise. But it would be nice to fill in some of those gaps and find out more about what's happening with the rest of the gang.

In the years it took for Voyager to reach Earth, the crew became a family. We'd hope that at least some of those familiar faces are still part of Admiral Janeway's life, one way or another.
