10 Reasons You Should Watch Castlevania Season 4
3. The Characters
The characters in Castlevania are truly memorable and fantastically-designed and written, and fans will miss seeing them onscreen. Some shine in this season more than others, their motivations clear and easy to sympathise with, even when you don't necessarily agree with their views.
In particular, Isaac's story shows self-actualisation that the man who became a force of nature deserves after all he struggled, arguably changing the most from his original introduction. In contrast, Carmilla remains unchanging and all the more glorious for it, unyielding and ambitious and queenly to the end.
New characters are introduced this season who, while not taking up nearly as much time given how much attention must be given to those already established, are compelling in their own right, surprising audiences in ways that nobody could have ever expected.
Certain characters redeem themselves or get through the hardships and suffering they were left with at the end of season 3. All the characters fans fell in love with over the course of four seasons have their stories given closure one way or another, either through a future they have yet to live or an end that fits their journey thus far.
