10 Reasons You're Not Fit To Call Yourself A Doctor Who Fan

6. You€™re Unfair Towards Companions

Enough with the disgraceful hatred towards Sarah Jane Smith, already! Just kidding, nobody hates Sarah Jane, but people do have an unusually hateful nature when it comes to the likes of Peri Brown, Adric, Martha Jones and/or Rose Tyler. If you€™ve never watched the Classic Series, shame on you again, for not knowing who some of those companions are. To clarify, yet again, Peri Brown is only disliked because she could stand up to the Master. Not her fault. Adric is only disliked because he was a know-it-all. Not his fault. Martha Jones is only disliked because she couldn€™t handle being second-best while also being one of the smartest female companions considering the fact that she was actually a doctor. You guessed it. Not her fault. Rose Tyler is only disliked because€ OK, so it's actually not that clear why she€™s disliked. Sure, some of these companions were controversial in matters of sex appeal, plain annoying and whiney to most, but it doesn€™t mean that they deserve the hate-speeches they€™re subjected to. That€™s just the way they were written, and a lot of them were actually true to their characters because you can never know how a person might react to being introduced to all of the world through a Time Lord, who, by the way, is still not ginger. If you€™re fussy about companions, you€™re never going to be one yourself.
