4. The Marvel Netflix Shows

TV cancellations are a predictable outcome of any given year, especially when certain shows aren't performing all that well. Some are shocking, yes, but understandable in certain circumstances. None, however, was ever quite as shocking - or, more importantly, disappointing - than Netflix's cancellation of its incredibly successful Marvel shows in two or three-fell swoops.

Offerings like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher and, to a lesser-extent, Luke Cage all received acclaim from fans and critics, who applauded the shared universe's dark and gritty tone, compelling character journeys and outstanding fight choreography.

While Iron Fist and The Defenders left a lot to be desired, there was clearly potential there for them to continue to grow - as the second season of the former proved.

With the Netflix deal - that prevents the characters from appearing in non-Netflix properties - coming to an end in the foreseeable future, it's imperative Disney Plus revives at least some of the shows. Daredevil, in particular, was the most consistent of the lot and had so much more left to give, while Jessica Jones still had a ton of untapped potential following its excellent first season.
