10 Superheroes Who Would Work Better On Television

4. Crimson Avenger

The Crimson Avenger is one of the oldest properties owned by DC, and is therefore one of the characters with the most history to explore. Ironically, he is also one of the least represented in other media. Despite being one of the first masked superheroes, The Crimson Avenger had no powers and only relied on his intelligence and fighting skills to keep the streets safe. He was known for carrying two pistols throughout most of his life, but various other weapons have been employed over the years, including a gas gun that later ended up in the hands of DC's Sandman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LejK0eH83E What makes The Crimson Avenger ripe for a TV series is the fact that there are three different version of the character that could be used, one of which is a woman who does in fact possess some supernatural powers thanks to the cursed handguns she bought that belonged to the original Crimson Avenger. As a frequent collaborator with The Justice League, he could end up being brought into the new film universe if they ever decide how to proceed after the upcoming Batman v. Superman film, but his tendency to be a powerless crime fighter makes him more suited to join the growing DC universe on television.
