10 Supporting MCU Characters That Must Appear In The Disney Plus Series

Agent Coulson has been through a lot.

He was a recurring character in Phase One, died in the first Avengers movie, and was then resurrected before being given his own show in the form of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D... before being killed off again in the fifth season of said show. He was just resurrected again, by the way.

With this track record, Coulson is arguably the most comic book-y character in all of the MCU, which is ironic seeing as he was invented for the movies.

Yet, even with his rather major role in the universe, Coulson has not returned to the realm of the MCU proper (his appearance in Captain Marvel taking place before his first death), a strange decision given his cult following. So, given that S.H.I.E.L.D's seventh series will be its last, would the Disney+series not be the perfect place to bring him back?

If so, let's hope that some of his fellow agents join him as well.
