10 Things Every MCU Fan Needs To Know About Moon Knight

1. He's Most Likely Completely Nuts

Despite all the lore stuff we've gone over in this little list, there's a solid chance that NONE of it is for real, and that Marc Spector is just a crazy weirdo in a white body stocking and cape with MPD beating up on people for his imaginary god friend.

Several runs play with the idea of Marc Spector being to some extent utterly mentally/emotionally broken due to the trauma of being left to die in the desert alone. But it's the Warren Ellis run that people like to point to that goes the deepest into it. Mostly in that Khonshu and his other personalities often appear as hallucinations, calling into particular question the very existence of Khonshu as an entity.

But most damning evidence of all is that Moon Knight is often shown hallucinating Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine, whom he often carries on full conversations with despite the book clearly showing that the three aren't really there.

If he isn't insane, then Marc is at least teetering on the edge and about to fall over completely at any given time. We really hope they keep this facet of his character in the Disney+ show because it would definitely be an interesting modifier to the typical Marvel protagonist build.
