2. Her Role As A Call Girl Was Based On True Events
No, seriously. Billie got tongues wagging, and in more ways than one, when she was cast as Belle de Jour in ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and, let's face it, some of the stuff she got up to was pretty damned shocking. It's perhaps even more gobsmacking when you acknowledge the fact that the show was based on true events, which means that most of Billie's post-watershed promiscuities actually happened. Yes, even the 'sploshing' (that's basically throwing food at each other for sexual satisfaction, if you're not in the know). Billie got to meet the real life Belle de Jour, Brooke Magnanti, for an exclusive tell all interview which helped to shed the light on the scandalous shenanigans of one of London's most notorious high class call girls. It was eye opening to say the very least. It proved to be a controversial ride - *ahem* - for Billie, too, and not only because she'd gone from the family orientated confines of Britain's most popular Saturday night drama to... well, wearing latex suits, getting naked at every opportunity and riding horny businessmen like a horse. She really knows how to pick 'em, doesn't she? And thank God she does.
