Bob’s Burgers has always deserved praise because it’s a comedy which promotes love and acceptance. It’s an inclusive show, including various characters of different backgrounds, all of which teach you the valuable lesson of embracing who you truly are.

Right from the beginning, the series has always had a great handle on LGBT subjects and representation. In the season one episode “Sheesh! Cab, Bob?”, where Bob becomes a taxi driver, he befriends a group of transgender prostitutes, one of which includes long-time minor character Marshmellow. Since then, we’ve also been provided lesbian limo driver Nat Kinkle, and gay food critic Dalton Crispin - all of who have been depicted comically, but without the show ever lowering itself to mock their sexuality.

There’s also plenty of evidence to suggest that the Belcher family are affiliated with the LGBT community, from Bob being bisexual – referring to himself as ‘mostly straight’ to the butcher – as well as Gene and Tina possibly being transgender.
