Comedy CentralIn this aspect, Xmas Story was an episode so crazy and weird, and yet so true to the Christmas spirit. It perverted familiar notions of the holiday, turned Xmas into a dastardly time of fear and terror, and still made us believe into values of love and friendship by the end of the day. Many would agree it'd be unfair to expect excelling on the same field several times in a row, but this one stands out as the worst. TFHS recycled the ideas from the far better episodes Xmas Story and The Sting, and brought up again Bender's quirk of inventing robot holidays to present three so-so disjointed stories. The result is expectedly Apparently unable to carry an episode on its own or to be stuck in as a subplot, any of these stories doesn't feel less redundant when piled together under a shiny sparkling Christmas label.
