10 Times TV Shows Made Up Incredible Movie Ideas

1. McBain - The Simpsons

Take the sarcasm of Bruce Willis' John McClane (and part of the name), the towering physical attributes and accent of Arnold Schwarzenegger and you have the greatest animated action hero of all time: McBain.

During his run on The Simpsons, Rainier Wolfcastle has featured in seven McBain films such as: You Have The Right To Remain Dead and Fatal Discharge. Throughout the series, we only get a small glimpse of the McBain films but it's more than enough to show that a full length film would be an action movie triumph.

Although there are only a few random clips of the McBain films available, there is a video on YouTube where someone has pieced the clips together to make a five minute McBain film which would serve perfectly as the opening act to a large scale feature.

McBain goes rogue when his partner is murdered by a henchman working on behalf of Senator Mendoza just days before his retirement. The short clip shows McBain firing off countless heavy weapons as well as hilariously cheesy one-liners before he finally gets revenge on his arch nemesis, Mendoza.

Classic McBain.
