10 TV Characters Ron Swanson Would Love

4. Sam Malone - Cheers

Parks And Recreation Ron Swanson
NBC

Ron Swanson is a man's man in the best sense of the term. He loves sports, steak and fine liquors. At Cheers, he could get two of those three things with the third just up the stairs from the bar. It would be a perfect spot for Ron to spend the evening if it wasn't for all the people.

Throughout the 1980s and into the early 1990s, Cheers was the sitcom to beat. Set in Boston, the series was about Sam Malone, a former MLB player for the Boston Red Sox who now owned a bar called Cheers. It was filled with off the wall barflies and staffed by lunatics.

There aren't a lot of things Ron is a fan of but he does love sports and spending time with an actual baseball player would appeal to him, especially one who can serve him alcohol. Beyond that, there is a restaurant directly above Cheers that could even serve Ron a good steak. Again, if it wasn't for all the people, this might be Heaven for Ron.
