10 TV Shows That Gave Away Spoilers Immediately

1. The Bad Place - The Good Place

Lost John Locke Othello
NBC

According to NBC's The Good Place, Heaven is a suburban town full of painfully polite people.

This is where Kristen Bell's Eleanor finds herself in the show's first episode. After her death via truck (the contents of which we won't go into now), Eleanor thinks she's been sent to The Good Place by accident after being mistaken for a prominent human rights lawyer.

This should have set off some serious alarm bells.

Firstly, how does Heaven make an administrative error? This is a system that has existed since the dawn of humanity - it shouldn't make a mistake as big as mixing up two entirely different people.

Secondly, everyone in "The Good Place" is really annoying. Like, they get on each other's nerves constantly. How is that a utopia?

As it turns out, Eleanor and her friends are actually in a version of The Bad Place, designed to emotionally and psychologically torture them.

If they had stopped for a minute, then they probably would have been able to figure this out. On the other hand, we also wouldn't have gotten this excellent show, so maybe it's for the best that they were all so oblivious.
