ABC's Emmy-nominated series Black-ish is no stranger to spinoffs, with Grown-ish and Mixed-ish having already aired over the last couple of years.

And now, another spinoff is set to join the growing ish family.

Starring Laurence Fishburne and Jenifer Lewis - who will reprise their Black-ish roles of Earl "Pops" Johnson and Ruby Johnson, respectively - Old-ish will follow the pair as they attempt to make their marriage work, now that youth is behind them.

Black-ish creator Kenya Barris will write and exec produce, with Fishburne himself also taking on exec producing duties.

Considering how well the other Black-ish spinoffs have turned out (Grown-ish is about to air its fourth season, while Mixed-ish is coming off its second), there's no reason to expect that Old-ish won't be great. After all, as his extensive list of film and TV credits proves, more Laurence Fishburne is never a bad thing.

At the very least, it should be pretty good-ish.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
