10 Walking Dead Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off

1. Negan

Negan is one of the best anti-heroes in pop culture. He is intimidating, absurd and hilariously vulgar, as well as devastatingly brutal. Yet, as time has passed, Negan has become a more empathetic hero on a path of redemption.

Played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Negan made his introduction in the season six finale by murdering both Glenn and Abraham.

As the leader of the Saviors, Negan was the main antagonist for three seasons before being imprisoned in Alexandria in season nine. While spending time in a cell, Negan was given a retrospective character arc as he came to terms with his past actions.

In a chance to prove himself, Carol released Negan and ordered him to infiltrate the Whisperers and eliminate Alpha. After beheading Alpha, Negan earned some trust from our group - yet this may change with the return of Maggie.

If the show follows the comics, then Negan will be banished from Alexandria by Maggie and forced to fend for himself, thus setting up the perfect premise for a solo series. This series can also include flashbacks to Negan's past life as a gym teacher and husband to former wife Lucille, who died of pancreatic cancer, and show how he came to be such an evil villain.

The Walking Dead may be ending, but Negan deserves to remain relevant in the world of pop culture.
