10 Walking Dead Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off
4. Maggie
Maggie Rhee is one of The Walking Dead's longest serving characters still alive in the show today. Played by Lauren Cohan, Maggie first made her appearance way back in season two when our group sought shelter in her family farm as they searched for Sophia.
From the beheading of her father, Hershel, to the brutal murder of her husband Glenn - Maggie has rarely had much to smile about, except giving birth to her son, Hershel Jr. So, following the assumed death of Rick Grimes, it's understandable why Maggie would part ways with our group and leave all her pain behind.
However, the show definitely suffered from Maggie's absence in the most recent season. Fans have had almost a decade's worth of watching Maggie mature into the strong leader she is today, so her sudden reappearance in the sixteenth episode of season ten is a huge positive.
That being said, Maggie still deserves her own spin-off. We may learn more about her solo adventure in the coming episodes, but that will not compare to sharing that journey with her from the get-go. Lauren Cohan deserves a stand-alone season focusing on Maggie's departure from the group to her new home, and it would allow fans to catch-up with a beloved hero.
