10 Weirdest Cameos In TV Shows That Made No Sense

4. Top Gear On Phineas And Ferb

The Simpsons Katy Perry
Disney

Phineas and Ferb is a great kids' show about two step-brothers who make the most of their summer vacation by building wonderful machines and going on excellent adventures.

Although, this episode is more about the subplot where their pet platypus is actually a spy. Kids TV is wild, man.

Perry the Platypus, aka Agent P, attempts to stop his nemesis Dr. Doofenshmirtz from winning a big car race to claim the prize money. And who is calling the action for this prestigious grand prix? Why none other than Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.

The trio of English presenters made a name for themselves on the BBC motoring show Top Gear. Then Clarkson punched a man, so they had to go and make a similar show for Amazon Prime instead.

The three Brits all do a decent job with their lines, helping move the plot along through a series of comic asides. Still, how they managed to land a role on an Disney Channel show remains a mystery.

Also, Patrick Dempsey plays a character in this episode, so this is actually a Phineas and Ferb/Top Gear/Grey's Anatomy crossover.

Wild.
