10 Weirdest Rick & Morty Storylines

The creators of Rick and Morty, and Rick himself, have said on numerous occasions that they won’t dabble in the arena of time travel. There is a box labelled ‘Time Travel Stuff’ in his garage and a multitude of fan theories that would beg to differ, but that’s the official word.

However, there has at least been a story based around the aspect of time, and though Rick himself didn’t travel through it, he did freeze it, unfreeze it causing wild instability, break it, shatter it into 64 almost identical but still connected pieces, before having to be rescued by a testicle monster.

Essentially, uncertainty removed Rick, Morty, and Summer from normal time, almost in a similar fashion to where the TVA operates in the MCU, and while it was broken and broken and broken down into 64 parts, so too were Rick and his grandkids.

When they came back together, Morty had 63 other memories of what had happened. How could even attempting to keep things straight in your head after something like that not drive you insane? How Morty ever continued at Rick’s side will forever be a mystery.
